32815. Lockheed Space Operations Company (LSOC), a NASA Prime
Contractor at Kennedy Space Center, FL (KSC), seeks sources capable of
providing jib hoist fabrication and assembly consisting of an
assembled jib hoist, electrical control system, pendant assembly and
linear rail mount structural platforms. The jib hoist is approximately
7 feet in height with an 11 foot - 6 inch boom and weighs 1,000 lbs.
The material is aluminum and steel. A single structural test stand is
also a deliverable item. The control system requires installing PLC's,
motion controllers, power supplies, etc. into commercially available
electrical cabinets. The pendant assembly consists of assembled control
pendants and pendant plug-in stations. Components to be installed in
the commercial off-the-shelf pendants are two joysticks, a touch
screen, and printed circuit board with power supply. The linear rail

offeror shall have the ability to fabricate, assemble and inspect in
accordance with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (ANSI Y14.7),
and possess expertise in structural steel fabrication, precision
machining, welding and inspection, painting, mechanical assembly and
electrical work. There will be a final acceptance test consisting of
erection of the test stand at the contractor-s facility, physical proof
and motion testing of each hoist, installation of one hoist onto the
test stand and system connection/verification low-level functional
testing. Indications of interest should be submitted to reach LSOC by
