This notice is being made to generate interest in a tentative requirement for the provisions & installation of equipment for the hazardous material processing facility located at the Defense Depot in Ricmond, VA. The general scope-of-work for this project is as follows: the contractor shall provide all the necessary labor, materials, equipment and control components required to provide, install, test and make operable a Hazardous Material Processing Conveyor System as per the Government's specifications. The system shall include approximately 1180 feet of pallet gravity roller conveyor, 18 each lift/turntables, 18 each inline pallet scales, 24 each work tables & industrial chairs, 360 feet of antifatigue mats, forklift stops for the pallet conveyor and 2 each traversing transporter docks with electric door operators. Keep in mind that this scope of-work is for informational purposes only and the actual specifications with statement-of work will be provided in the solicitation package. It is expected that a pre-bid conference/site-visit will be scheduled early in the solicitation period.
