The Naval Sea Sytems Command will issue a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) under RFP N00024-95-NR-4131 to Dresser-Rand Company, Engine Process Compressor Division, 100 Chemung Street, Painted Post, NY 14870. The purpose of this BOA is to: a. Remove or provide guidance/assistance for removing Dresser-Rand air compressor units or air compressor air ends for shipment to overhaul facility. b. Open and inspect various Government furnished Dresser-Rand Air Compressor units. c. Open and inspect various Government-furnished Dresser-Rand Air Compressor air ends. d. Overhaul/repair various Government-furnished Dresser-Rand air compressor units. e. Overhaul/repair various Government-furnished Dresser-Rand air compressor air ends. f. Reinstall or provide guidance/assistance for the above equipment. g.Conduct/supervise full load performance test and evaluation for the above equipment. h. Provide applicable data for the above items. OPTIONS i. Provide engineering training for the equipment repaired under items (b) and (c) above. j. Provide emergency engineering services and/or repairs for compressors under items (b) and (c) above. k. Install Dresser-Rand Demand Drain System on oil-free high pressure air compressors Model N30NL-3 and N30NL-1, and Worthington (Dresser-Rand) Model 30NL-30 high pressure air compressor for the equipment overhauled under (d) and (e) above. l. Provide applicable data for the above items. m. Review and update technical documentation and provisioning for equipment under (b) and (c) above. n. Develop or update technical manuals and technical repair standards for equipment under (b) and (c) above. Dresser-Rand, the Original Equipment Manufacturer, has the design knowledge, access to proprietary data, and readily available parts to service the equipment.
