This is for the procurement for 12 each Charger, Battery, PP-7798/A, NSN: 6130-01-135-5065, IAW Eldec Corp Part Number 4-133-02, with a 200 percent option. Since the Government does not have the necessary technical data for competitive solicitation, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Eldec Corp on a firm-fixed-price basis. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The US ARMY COMMUNICATION COMMAND (CECOM) has established an Electronic Bullentin Board (EBB) to provide electronic transmittal of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from Government to industry. AS OF 1 JANUARY 1995, HARD COPIES WILL NO LONGER BE DISTRIBUTED. (Exceptions are Post, Camp and Station Acquisitions). All interested parties wishing to do business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive data from the CECOM EBB system. To become a user of the EBB, you will need an identification code and password in addition to a computer terminal equipped with necessary hardware and software to interface with the EBB system. Detailed information regarding system requirements is contained in the US Army CECOM EBB User's Manual. A Users Manual, Identification Code and password will be issued upon request.
