The National Park Service, Harpers Ferry Center, is soliciting proposals for the fabrication of museum exhibits for Everglades National Park, Homestead, Florida. The Contractor shall be required to provide all labor, materials, facilities and transportation necessary to fabricate and install museum exhibits. Work includes: Postaward Conference at Harpers Ferry Center, Harpers Ferry, West Virginia; two (2) site visits to Everglades National Park, Homestead, Florida; Site visit to natural history diorama facility, Cedar Creek, Missouri; as-built drawings; fabrication of exhibit structures including exterior orientation exhibits including electrical connection, porcelain enamel panels, wall panels with and without lighting, laying of inlaid ceramic mosaic floor tile and surrounding marble floor tiles to match the rest of the floor, laying of wood decking, wayside exhibits for the porch area, cabinetry, fabrication of exhibit walls and ceiling clouds to match newly constructed building walls; installation of electrical elements; installation and wiring of Government-Furnished audiovisual equipment, fiber optic lighting for Exhibit Number 20, specialty lighting such as neon and cold cathode and positioning, aiming and focusing of all exhibit lighting to provide proper illumination of the installed exhibits; photographs; graphics; transportation of exhibits; and installation of exhibits.
