A firm fixed-price contract is sought for architect/engineer services for Type A (Investigation), Type B (Design) and Type C (Investigation) for Design Base Supply Complex, Project ATQZ001054. Project consists of an administrative and warehouse facility. This project will be designed using both English and SI units. Work includes furnishing all professional services, labor, materials and travel to furnish complete design and project documents necessary to construct a Base Supply Complex. Estimated construction cost is between $1 million and $5 million. The work will be performed for the Indiana Air National Guard Base located at Fort Wayne International Airport, Baer Field, Fort Wayne, IN. Interested firms will be evaluated based on the following criteria in order of precedence: 1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services to include expertise in the fields of Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical and Environmental Engineering, 2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required, 3) Capacity to accomplish work in the required time, 4) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project, 5) Past performance on contracts with government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules, 6) Volume of DOD work previously awarded.
