Napier, (606)281-3955, Contracting Officer, Betty Spencer, (606)281-3954 Services of an Architect Engineering firm to provide site investigation, design, and construction period services for Projects 596-96-119 (Site Prep Telephone System CDD) and 596-97-119 (Site Prep Telephone System LD). Design effort shall include all necessary site investigations, preliminary design, construction documents and construction period services for new raceway systems, related architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical work for installation of VA-owned telephone and computer systems. Qualified Industrial Hygienist is required to be part of the site investigation and design team. Qualified A/E firms shall have exhibited a successful work history on at least two similar installations in existing facilities similar in scope to thse projects. Drawings shall be accomplished on ''CAD'' and be compatible with VA ''Autocad Release 12'' system format and software. Construction cost range for each project: Between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Area of consideration is restricted to businesses within 100 mile radius of VAMC, Lexington, KY. Interested firms must submit appropriate data described in Numbered Note 24 no later than June 30, 1995. Standard Industrial Classification Number for this procurement is 8712.
