If applicable, name of local government involved (Articles 3.2 and 7.2): 2. Agency responsible: Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (COSMT). 3. Notified under Article 2.9.2. 4. Products covered (HS or CCCN where applicable, otherwise national tariff heading. ICS numbers may be provided in addition, where applicable): Hides used for manufacturing products intended for children up to two years of age, or whose having direct contact with human skin. HS 4104, 4105, 4106, 4107.10, 4107.21, 4108.00. 5. Title and number of pages of the notified document: Draft of the Decree No. Z-404/1995 of the COSMT on Treated Hides Subject to Certification by Testing Laboratory (2 pages). 6. Description of content: Finished hides whose content of pentachlorophenol must be within limits laid down in HEM-363-20.10.93. Certification procedure will be carried out by the State testing laboratory No. 224. 7. Objective and rationale: Health protection. 8. Relevant documents: (1) Amnouncement will appear in the Official Journal (OJ) of the COSMT, (2) Act 30/1968 Coll., in the wording of later amendments, (3) OJ of the COSMT. 9.
