FIGHTER AIRCRAFT CORROSION CONTROL: Provide all facilities, personnel, supervision, supplies, equipment, and other services (except Government provided) necessary to perform fighter aircraft corrosion control services on A-10, F-16, and T-38 aircraft. The facility must be located within the CONUS. The Government Furnished Equipment and the Government Quality Assurance Team are currently located at the former Regional Corrosion Control Facility, Bergstrom AFB in Austin, TX. If use of the RCCF is desired for performance of this contract then a lease agreement must be reached with the City of Austin. Services include, but are not limited to, depot-level aircraft strip by the Plastic Media Blast process; aircraft surface scuff-sand and prep; corrosion inspection with minor corrosion removal; application of acid etch and chromate conversion products; application of primer coat; application of topcoats in varying colors, schemes, and types; and application of markings.
