The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) requires the services of a contractor(s) to provide seven (7) evaluation designs. The primary purpose of the evaluation designs are to determine the strengths and limitations of the programs and possibilities of expansion or changes, allowing for a cost benefit analysis. The evaluation designs are of the following programs: 1. Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE); 2. Reading Recovery; 3. Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC); 4. Language Immersion, 5. Distance Education; 6. Inclusive Education for Students with Disabilities; and 7. Families and Schools Together (FAST). The contractor(s) will be expected to be an expert researcher who identifies key program research variables, specify the sampling plan and the data analysis plan, develop or identify data collection instruments, and provide an overall research design for implementation.
