The following information is provided to do a Market Survey to place 3 to 5 contractors on a task order contract for a five year ordering period. OO-ALC/LIR requires engineering and technical services support to assure delivered systems satisfy operational requirements for Mission Planning Systems (MPS) and trainer modification programs. Needed support is multi-disciplined and requires detailed knowledge of the operations and maintenance of a large family of systems. Typical support includes: (1) evaluating and providing a technical report describing existing system baselines; (2) defining, developing, testing, and establishing baselines for new training devices; (3) maintaining and installing system hardware and software; (4) performing developmental, operational, and integration tests; (5) providing user support; (6) developing and maintaining system users and system administrators manuals and version description documents; (7) performing code review and verification; (8) maintaining and tracking configuration management and associated data; (9) attending design reviews and other meetings as required; (10) evaluating engineering change proposals; (11) participating in formal acceptance tests; (12) providing reliability and quality assurance; (13) evaluating data for completeness and accuracy; (14) providing engineering and software documentation.
