furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to
expand the existing 9400 SF facility by 9348 SF. Work will include a
workroom expansion, including new office areas, modular vault and the
refurbishing of existing toilet rooms to comply with A.D.A. Asbestos
abatement will be a part of this contract. Construction will be of load
bearing masonry with bar joist roof with modified bitumen roofing.
Exterior work will include an addition to the existing parking lot. A
preproposal conference is schedule for May 31, 1995, 9:00 AM, at the
facility. Estimated cost of this project is between $775,000 and
$975,000 with 242 days for construction after receipt of Notice to
Proceed. Solicitation instructions, conditions and other contract
documents may be examined at the Facilities Service Office, USPS,
Building 300, Suite 300, 4000 DeKalb Technology Pkwy., Atlanta, GA
30340-2799 and most nearby plan rooms. Copies of the complete
invitation and contractual documents are available at $75 per set
(non-refundable). A check should be made payable to ``Disbursing
Officer, U.S. Postal Service'' and mailed to the above address, Attn:
Cindi Grantham. Telephone Requests will not be accepted. Offerors are
strongly encouraged to submit proposals via U.S. Postal Service First
Class, Priority or Express Mail. There will be no public opening of
offers. The number of offers received, identity of offerors, amount of
any offer or relative standing of the offers will not be disclosed to
