Butts, (304)263-0811x3222 Furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to upgrade and expand existing pneumatic tube system (Powers-Transitube Model CTS-20 by Translogic Corporation) in Building 500. Work includes installation of two additional pneumatic tube stations on 2nd and 6th floor of facility complete with all required piping, wiring, accessories and equipment modifications to be completely interchangeable with existing system. Furnish and install five new blowers and controls, forty-six keyboard type, computerized control boards in existing forty-six pneumatic tube stations, twenty-four transfer unit electronic logic cards in twenty-four pneumatic transfer units. Provide design and construction of an interzone storage pipe system between existing zones nos. 1,2,3, and 4 and add a zone #5 for possible expansion in hospital. Furnish and install a new transport unit for the new zone #5 to support nursing home and domiciliary. Contractor will be responsible for sizing, installing and locating this new equipment. Furnish and install new 486DX2 IBM compatible computer installed and two zone controller cards for spares, software and computer interface box for upgrade to Building 500 with color printer to include certain other items.
