Work consists of but is not limited to providing all labor, materials, and supervision for the general construction work for repairing the granite plaza deck and the replacing of the waterproof membrane under the granite deck which is on the structural slab. The project also includes options for removing a structural concrete bay at the plaza level for installing a skylight and atrium below. A second option is to install perimeter and insulated windows in the exterior wall at the atrium level. The estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Completion time is 330 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Specifications will be available o/a 5/30/95. Bids will be opened publicly on 6/30/95. Award will be made on an unrestricted size basis under the ``Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988'' (PL 100-656), which established the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Bids from large and small businesses will be evaluated for award. The SIC number is 1542 and the small business size standard is $17,000,000. An acceptable subcontracting plan must be submitted prior to award to a large business concern.
