The work consists of removing single hung windows, installing new dual glazed horizontal sliding rescue windows, installing horizontal louver blinds, installing new exhaust fans, combination heater/exhaust fans, florescent light fixtures in bathrooms, installing new smoke dectors, removing exhaust flues, installing new exhaust venting flues, installing appurtenances on gas-fired furnaces and hot water heaters. Invitation for Bid Number N00-95-36, Bid Opening Date: June 29, 1995 at 2:00 PM. This project is LABOR SURPLUS AREA-SET ASIDE, AND SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS demonstration applies. The estimated price range for this project is between $100,000. and $250,000. Section 7(B) of PL 93-638 (U.S.C. 450E) and 41 CFR 14-1.354 require that preference opportunities in employment and training to be given to Indian/Alaska Native Individuals and that preference in the award of subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaska Native Economic Enterprises.
