The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Maritime Support Aircraft Division, has a requirement for a total of nine (9 each) ANEW Interface Cards (with onboard RAM), Rockwell International Model 21180-501-81, for support of the VP Maritime Patrol Transition Software Support Activity simulation system. The interface cards are VME chassis mounted general purpose interface cards that translate standard VME Bus commercial standard interface protocol into U.S. Navy ANEW military standard 1397A interface protocol and will be used by the VP Maritime Patrol program to construct a real time simulator for use in the VP Maritime Patrol Program facilities. Specifically, the cards will provide the interface between the Real Time simulator's commercial SUN Microsystems SPARC Workstation and U.S. Navy ASQ-212 Military Computer. The cards shall be used in combination with two (2) spare ANEW cards from Warminster, Pennsylvania to populate a third VP simulator at Patuxent River. Delivery of the interface cards is required 60 days after contract award. Negotiations shall be conducted solely with Rockwell International.
