70 -- PURCHASE OF ADP TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICES SOL DASW01-95-R-0247 POC Contact MAJ George Sears, 703/695-4858,Contracting Officer, Alex Graham The Defense Supply Service-Washington, on behalf of the US Army Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Plans (ODCSOPS), intends to acquire ADP technical support services through a Requirements type contract with Fixed Loaded Hourly Labor Rates, with Other Direct Costs on a Cost Reimbursement basis. This procurement is a recompete of contract MDA903- 89-D-0026 with CACI, which expired in 5 April 1994. These services are being provided during the interim by CACI, under contract MDA903-92-D-0103 -Executive Decision System HQDA DSMA. The proposed procurement is for continued maintenance, enhancement, and functional analysis of the Army Training Models, and will include a base year and four (4) option periods. Requirements supported under this effort include those of all Army components (Active Army, Army Reserve and Army National Guard). Specifically, the work to be performed includes: 1) operational support and software maintenance, 2) training and functional user community support, 3) analysis/database management support for production runs, problem corrections, alternative assessment, 4) enhancement of the Battalion Level Training Models (BLTMs) in accordance with Operational Readiness (OPRED) initiatives, 5) enhancement of Training Resource Model (TRM), 6) enhancement of the Flying Hour Management System (FHMS), 7) enhancement of the Professional Military Education (PME) System, 8) maintenance and revision of documentation. May include migration of selected mainframe applications to PC environments and development of client-server architecture.
