The Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, intends to procure Specialized Engineering Services for the TOMAHAWK Cruise Missiles Weapon System and Weapon Control System, Advanced TOMAHAWK Weapon Control System and related strike systems. This includes systems engineering in the areas of systems definition, software requirements, design engineering, and ILS for software development, testing, and life cycle support. This procurement will be a Cost Plus Fixed Fee Contract (term) type contract for a total performance period of five years, which includes the base period and all options. This procurement is planned to be in place 15 January 1995, and will initially require a staff of approximately 16 full time personnel for the first performance year. All proposed technical personnel should have specific qualifications related to TOMAHAWK Cruise Missiles Weapon System and Weapon Control Systems with specialized system engineering experience in the following areas: System definition and design, Systems analysis, Systems support engineering, and Systems integrated logistics support engineering. This work will also require that all technical personnel possess a security clearance of SECRET at time of contract award and that the contractor's facility have classified storage capabilities through the level of SECRET. Additionally, the contractor must have a facility located within a 1 hour commuting time of Dahlgren, Virginia. This procurement will be a 100% Small Business Set-A-Side and is restricted to qualified Small Businesses. The SIC code for this procurement is 8711 with a twenty (20) million size standard.
