NIH intends to negotiate and award, on a sole-source basis, a contract to provide and code data from a community health risk reduction program to Jefferson Comprehensive Care System, Inc., PO Box 1285, Pine Bluff, AR 71613-1285. This action is being taken under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) (FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)). The firm will be required to provide data from the existing medical records of 400 participants and administer surveys to 200 additional participants. Firms must have demonstrated experience in administering the Five-Factor Model of Personality, as utilized by the Laboratory of personality and Cognition, Gerontology Research Center, NIH. While NIH believes that the above referenced firm is the only source that has coded and maintained such data, any other firm that possesses the required capacity and is interested in making a proposal is invited to make a demonstration of that capacity to the above referenced Contracting Officer.
