The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Washington Detachment intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Basic Technology Corporation. The Contractor shall provide independent analysis and technical studies as well as data processing, project management, engineering and technical support for the Information Technology Iniatives Division of the Naval Supply Systems Command. Specific tasks include the development and assessment of information technology plans and the development and analysis of acquisition documentation. The contractor shall conduct independent technical studies and analyses of existing information management systems and provide recommended alternatives to existing systems. The contract will be for a one year period and will require an estimated 45,000 labor hours. A Justification and Approval for Other than Full and Open Competition as well as DPA 95-0555 apply.
