Project No.: NNY91413; Estimated Cost: $180,000,000.00 to $190,000,000.00. The subject procurement is open to both small and large business concerns. The subject procurement will be solicited in Two Parts. Part One will require offerors to submit data regarding technical qualific ations. All offerors meeting the technical qualifications in Part One will be allowed to go forward into Part Two and submit lump sum price proposals. A non-refundable charge of $50.00 will be required in order for offerors to obtain Part 1 Technical documents. Part Two will require a non-refundable charge of $350.00. Only certified checks and money orders will be accept d. A Pre-Proposal conference will be held on Monday, June 5, 1995, 10:00 A.M. at the New York Institute of Technology, (Central Islip Campus), Student Activity Center, Carleton Avenue, Islip, New York. Entrance is located on Gullhaven Blvd. Immediately following the preproposal conference an Industry Conference will be held. The purpose of the Industry Conference is to have General Contractors (potential prime contractors) meet with Small, Small Disadvantaged, and Small Women-Owned Business Concerns (potential subcontractors) to establish a framework of communica tion and discuss possible subcontracting opportunities. This conference is an excellent opportunity for Prime Contractors to increase the percentage of Small, Small Disadvantaged and Small Women-Owned participation as sub contractors under this contract. GSA is committed to affording maximum practicable opportunity to Small, Small Disadvantaged and Small Women-Owned business concerns. The minimum acceptable subcontracting target goals for this project will be issued at a later date. Members of the Construction Industry and Potential Support Contractors are strongly encouraged to attend this conference. Space will be made available to General Contractors (potential prime contractors) to meet with potential sub contractors. If you intend to compete as a prime contractor and desire to participate in this conference, please contact the Contracting Officer identified above by May 30, 1995. Partnering shall be required for this contract. Partnering is a structured process developed to produce a profitable job for the entire ''construction team.'' This will result in the evolution of a cohesive, cooperative, construction leadership team with a single set of goals and measurable objectives.
