Gaessler, (407)882-6508 It is the intent of the VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach, Florida to negotiate sole source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Jedmed Instrument Company, 6096 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63129-2217, distributor for an ENT Workstation Servant 4 and components as described in Section B, manufactured by Atmos. Workstation must be of industrial size and must have the capability of being self contained for suction, water and drain. The system must be all encompassing, compatible and interchangeable. The system must include the following: ENT clinic chair (with membrane touch controls); mobile treatment carts; micro CCD video camera; video laryngoscope; flexible nasopharyngoscope; color video printer; and wall mounted ENT scope. This is a sole source requirement and if no affirmative written response is received that a comparable source is available, a sole source contract will be negotiated. Responses indicating an interest in this acquisition must be received within 15 calender days of publication of this notice. If no responses are received by May 31, 1995 negotiations will begin on June 1, 1995. Interested parties must submit descritpive literature with their response proving their capability to respond to the requirements.
