Muse Walter Reed Army Medical Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Ventana Medical Systems of Tuscon, Arizona to provide two (2) In-Situ Hybridization Systems for use by the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, Immunopathology Division. Minimum characteristics for systems include: the ability to use both Immunohisto-Chemistry technology and DNA Cytochemistry technology, have a 40 position slide carousel, the ability to have user defined temperature settings from 30 to 95 degrees centagrade, programmable interfaces and multiple mixing stations for on slide mixing.
