perform routine drydock repairs to the USCGC WHITE HOLLY (WLM-543). The
major items which may be performed but are not limited to the
following: Welding repairs 2. Remove, inspect and reinstall propeller
shafts 3. Remove, inspect and reinstall intermediate shafts 4. Renew
water-lubricated shaft bearings 5. Remove, inspect and renew propellers
6. Minor repair and recondition propeller 7. Preserve the Transducer
hull rings and renew the depth indicating transducer 8. Clean galley
and engine room ventilation system(s) 9. Overhaul, renew, and test
valves 10. Remove, inspect and reinstall rudder assmemblies 11.
Overhaul port and starboard boat davits 12. Test pad eyes and links 13.
Preserve buoy deck 14. Clean and inspect diesel fuel tanks 15. Preserve
underwater body 16. Clean and inspect sewage and grey watercollection
and holding tank(s) 17. Preserve sewage and grey water collection and
holding tank(s) 18. Clean, inspect, and disinfect potable water tanks
19. Preserve aerve potable water tanks 20. Renew corrosion preventive
zinc anodes 21. Ultrasonic testing 22. Provide temporary logistics 23.
Routine drydocking 24. Renew interior joiner doors 25. Renew two
watertight scuttles 26. Install mechanical remote engine shut downs 27.
Clean and test keel coolers and grid coolers 28. Preserve antennas and
antenna foundations 29. Remove and dispose of asbestos pipe insulation
and install new insulation 30. Install new air conditioning unit and
components 31. Renew air handlers 32. Nodify steering tiller, tie rod
ends and relocate hydraulic rams 33. Overhaul anchor and anchor chain
34. Preserve chain locker and chain pipe 35. Web frame repairs 36.
Preserve lazarette compartment 37. Preserve freeboard 38. Re-configure
mess deck 39. Renew deck covering 40. Provide temporary messing 41.
Provide temporay berthing. Vessel's homeport is New Orleans, LA. Vessel
length is 133'. Vessel availability schedule is 25 September 1995 for
63 days. There will be a non-refundable charge required in the form of
a certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard
in the amount of $100.00 for requested U.S. Coast Guard specifications
reference drawings. The proposed contract listed here is part of the
Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to
both large and small businesses. Plans and specifications will be
issued on or after 30 May 1995. All responsible sources may submit a
bid which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. For

prime interest rates up to $500,000 per contract to provide accounts
receiving financing. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms
to apply for bid performance and payment bonds up to $500,000 per
contract. DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a
