R -- LINE SERVICE CONNECTIVITY FOR NASA HQ PAGERS AND CELLULAR TELEPHONES SOL W-10-81065 POC Julie Speers tel: This is a sources sought synopsis to provide line service connectivity for NASA Headquarters owned pagers and cellular telephones. WE INTEND TO RELEASE THIS SOLICITATION THROUGH THE CBD AND INTERNET. At the present time NASA Headquarters has 153 local pagers, 97 nationwide pagers, 1 international pager, and 43 cellular telephones. The contract will require flexibility to provide new requirements, changes, and/or disconnects of line(s), which will allow for expected increases and changes in services. This contract will provide lines, features (listed below), maintenance and usage for a three (3) year period. This is a full and open competitive requirement. A three year, firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery type contract is contemplated as a result of this solicitation. The contractor will be required to provide all of the following: (1) Local Line features: individual line assignments for pagers, unlimited calls, minimum 110 mile coverage from Washington-metropolitan area. (2) Regional/ Nationwide/International Line features: individual assignments, defined coverage areas, personal ID numbers with security codes, toll-free 800 number with 24 hour access for services, on-line help function, usage/service level plans (Skytalk, E-mail & skyfax), airtime and service hotline available 24 hours, 7-days a week, 365 days a year, page recall (if out of coverage area), coverage in the U.S., Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, Mexico, Argentina, Bahamas, Bermuda, Hong Kong, and Columbia with automatic expansion as coverage areas widen. (3) Line features for cellular phones must include: individual line assignments, optional feature and rate packages, long distance carrier selection, ROAM featues, and call detail reports. (4) Maintenance Requirements (Pagers and Cellular Phones:) The contractor shall provide time and materials and full maintenance agreement options. All repairs of equipment shall be accomplished within 30 calendar days from pickup with replacements available while units are being repaired. The SIC code for the proposed acquisition is 4813, Telephone Communications, the SIC standard is not more than 1,500 employees (12 month average).
