Z -- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE, PROJECT VGLZ929509, ``REPLACE UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS'' Contact Mary F. Pace, Contract Administrator or Paula J. DeShon, Contracting Officer (810) 307-4881/5989. Provide all plant, labor, material, equipment, appliances and supervision for Project VGLZ 929509, ``Replace Underground Storage Tanks'' at Selfridge ANG Base Michigan. Work includes but is not limited to: removal of up to 10 each UST's, removal/replacement of up to 5 each oil/water separators, removal of up to 3 each heating oil tanks and replace with a gas service and equipment, and installing 4 each 12,000 gallon self contained above ground storage fuel tanks. These tanks currently contain or have in the past contained MOGAS, Diesel fuel, waste oil, heating oil, or deicer fluid. All work to be in strict accordance with the specifications and Drawing No 120-039 dated 21 Jul 94, reissued 2 May 1995 for Project VGLZ929509, ``Replace Underground Storage Tanks'' at Selfridge ANG Base MI. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. Performance period is 120 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Interested concerns should as early as possible, but not later than 15 calendar days after publication of this notice, indicate interest in bidding as a prime contractor on the project, evidence of capability to perform including references for similar work with contract numbers, points of contact, telephone numbers and if appropriate a positive statement of eligibility as a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concern. In addition, dollar amount of current construction bonding capability is required. The Contracting Officer will utilize the information received to make a decision to issue this solicitation as set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business or ``UNRESTRICTED'' without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all interested business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. Replies must indicate the firm's size status such as large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, or 8(a). The Standard Industrial Classification code is 1542. Applicable small business size standard including affiliates is no more than $17,000,000 average annual revenue for the previous three years. (131)
