Z -- MODIFY DOORS, BUILDING 17, CHAMBLEE CAMPUS, ATLANTA, GEORGIA SOL 95-144 DUE 071395 POC Contact Leroy King at (404)842-6510 Z-Provide all necessary tools, labor, equipment, materials and transportation to modify doors at CDC Facilities, Building 17, Chamblee Campus, Atlanta, Georgia. This project will require the following work to be performed: demolish the existing entrance walkway at the east side of the building; install ramped concrete sidewalk with handrail to replace demolished walk; install four (4) powered door operators with associated controls and wiring on existing storefront doors; install electrical conduit and wiring to power the door operators; install steel bollard for operator switch and cardkey. An option is included in this project: Option 1 - Provide infrared safety detection devices to both sides of doors to receive automatic door operators. Provide associated wiring to hook-up detection device to door operator. Door operator shall be compatible with infrared safety devices whether Option 1 is accepted or not. This project shall require the door operator installation and final adjustment(s) be performed by installers trained and approved by the operator manufacturer to assure they are installed and function correctly. Work other than the door installation may be performed by others. This procurement is a total set-aside for Small Business Concerns. Cost range for this requirement is between $25,000 and $100,000. Bid bonds will be required. Subsequently, Payment and Performance bonds will be required from the successful Offeror. Solicitation 95-144 will be available on or about June 13, 1995 for a nonrefundable fee of $20.00 per package. Only written requests with payment will be honored.
