INVITATION FOR BIDS: IFB, drawings and specifications will be available O/A 10 Jun 95 for Repair Shingled Roofs project number 94-9013 and 94-9014. Furnish all labor, equipment, and materials as necessary to replace asphalt shingles, framing, and sheathing on existing housing units at Minot AFB ND. Work is 100% general. Work is not in a restricted area and consists of a 180 day performance period. Project magnitude is between $500,000 & $1,000,000. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns must notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor no later than 5 Jun 95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status must be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all interested business concerns as well as from Small Disadvantaged Business concerns.
