Jeff Rengel tel: 334/953-3593/Mary Lou Crook, (334) 953-2560, Contracting Officer The Headquarters Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (HQ AFROTC) has a requirement for 139 integrated Television/Video Cassette Recorders (TV/VCR'S) and 35 soft carrying cases to accomodate the TV/VCR'S. The TV/VCR'S shall meet the following minimum requirements: They must have a 13'' screen (measured diagonally), 90 degree deflection angle; have a channel coverage of VHF 2-13, UHF 14-69, CATV 1-125; television/video cassette recording system must be standard NTSC color; combined CATV/VHF/UHF, 75 ohm, F-type antenna terminal; recording speeds of SP/LP/EP; must use a power requirement of 120V AC, 60 Hz; cabinet must be of high-impact molded plastic; must have on-screen remote programming; and a minimum 1-year warranty covering complete cost of parts and labor. The TV/VCR'S will be used for recruiting purposes requiring that the product be moved frequently to various locations; therefore, the TV/VCR'S must be of professional type, withstand travel abuse and remain operable. It has been determined that the SONY KV-13VM20 product or equal would satisfy the AFROTC requirement. The soft carrying cases must provide protection to the TV/VCR and have handles for ease of carrying. It will be required of the vendor to deliver to 137 various destinations located throughout the United States. Total quantity: 139 integrated TV/VCR'S, 35 soft carrying cases. Offers will be accepted on an F.O.B. Destination basis only. Required delivery schedule: 30 days after receipt of contract award, or no later than 7 August 1995. Solicitation number: F01600-95-R0031.
