The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Timeplex Federal Systems, Inc., for an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for hardware, software, firmware, maintenance, and training to support the FBI's currently installed T1 network. The contract to be awarded will be for one year, with four additional one-year option periods. The hardware, software, and firmware must be compatible with the existing Timeplex T1 network base of hardware, software, and firmware. All responsible sources able to meet this requirement are invited to identify their interest and capability in meeting the requirement by submitting information to include technical capabilities, pricing, and any other information which shows a bona fide ability to meet this requirement within 45 days of this publication. If no affirmative responses are received within this time to determine that a comparable source more advantageous to the Government is available, negotiations will take place with Timeplex Federal Systems, Inc., on a sole-source basis.
