Philadelphia, intends place a Delivery Order under GSA Contract GSOOK94AGS5684 with Anacomp Corporation to procure one (1) XFP 2000 Microfiche Production System installation at the Defense Printing Service Detachment Office (DPSDO) located at Mechanicsburg, PA. This order is being placed on an other than full and open competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302- 1, ''Only One Responsible Source,'' with Anacomp Corporation since the XFP 2000 provides a direct link to the Navy-owned Xerox manufactured 9790 Printing Device installed at the Navy Printing Service Detachment Office and allows the Direct Transfer of Microfiche Images on 16mm to 105mm Microfilm. Further, the Anacomp Unit provides the ability to process microfiche either through the On-Line System or Manually Off-Line. All responsible sources may submit concise documentation as to their ability to supply the required MICROFICHE PRODUCTION SYSTEM as well as financial and technical information which shall be considered equally by FISC Norfolk Det Philadelphia. If no affirmative written responses advantageous to the Navy are received within fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice, a Delivery Order will be issued to Anacomp Corporation under GSA Contract GSOOK94AGS5684. NOTE, NO CONTRACT AWARD WILL BE MADE ON THE BASIS OF INFORMATION RECEIVED IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE. Further, the Navy WILL NOT PAY for any information provided.
