AND MEASURING THE DAMPING FOLLOWING MECANICAL EXCITATION USING
CONVENTIONAL SENSORS With STRAIN SENSITIVITIES OF ( 1 PARTS-PER-BILLION
(ppb). THESE RESULTS SHALL BE COMPARED WITH STRAIN MEASUREMENTS TO THE
ppb LEVEL USING GOVERNMENT-FUNISHED FIBER OPTIC STRAIN SENSORS MOUNTED
