This is a request for quotes to provide a non-hazardous waste method for internally cleaning steel pressure vessels and tanks. This process will replace the current method which produces hazardous waste. It is the Government's intention to award two Blanket Purchase Agreements. Purchase Agreements shall cover a one year period and be renewable on a yearly basis. There are approximately 100 tanks and pressure vessels to be cleaned. Tanks and vessels shall be cleaned approximately ten at a time with a maximum of 20-25 per year initially. For quotation purposes assume 250 cu ft vessel, 40 ft long, 5 ft OD, 55,000 lbs. Quotes shall provide for a process demonstration either at AEDC or contractors facility. The contractor shall base quotes on two options. OPTION 1: The contractor shall provide labor, materials, and support equipment necessary to perform the work on site at AEDC. OPTION 2: The contractor shall provide labor, materials, transportation and support equipment necesary to perform the scope of work at their facility. (0135)
