sources sought synopsis issued for the purpose of determining if there
are any sources capable of providing the services described herein. A
national buy requirement for a single Contractor to provide hardware
maintenance services to include on call preventive and remedial repair
service at local sites in the following geographic areas: Washington,
DC; Oklahoma City, OK; Atlantic City, NJ; Fort Worth, TX; Jamaica, NY;
Kansas City, MO; Hawthorne, CA; Anchorage, AK; College Park, GA; Des
Plaines, Il; Burlington, MA; and Renton, WA. We require local service
centers at each site to avoid unnecessary travel costs. Local service
centers should be within at least a 75 mile radius from the sites
listed above. Response times are preferred within 4 to 6 hours arrival
on-site after initiation of a problem call. The hardware to be
maintained includes the following 3270 type equipment: McData
LinkMaster 7100 remote cluster controllers, Decision Data Model
IS-372-CB terminals with keyboards, IIS Inc. Model 424-20 Dot Matrix
printers with coax interface, C.I. Toh Inc. Model CI-1000CX line
printers, and refurbished IBM LexMark Model 4029-30 laser printers with
coax board interface. The equipment, located at the various sites, is
interconnected by coaxial cables. Those firms who feel they are capable
of fulfilling this requirement are requested to submit a written
description of their capabilities to the Contract Specialist, at the
address provided above, within three weeks of the publication of this
