The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, California, intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis one year firmware and hardware field maintenance and support for the Micro Technology, Inc. (MTI) hard disk storage and 8MM archival recording equipment. Support consists of firmware & hardware preventative and corrective maintenance services, as well as for direct user support for assistance during system reconfiguration efforts. Period of Performance is from 1 October 1995 thru 30 September 1996. Two one-year options are also contemplated from 1 October 1996-30 September 1997 and from 1 October 1997-30 September 1998. Due to the proprietary nature of the firmware and software, negotiations will be conducted with Micro Technology, Inc. Anaheim, California.
