The Southeastern Universities Research Association (SURA) has a prime contract with the Department of Energy (DOE) for work in connection with the Continuous Electron Beam Acceleration Facility (CEBAF). The construction will be accomplished on the CEBAF site in Newport News, VA. The project includes partial demolition of roof and re-roofing total roof with EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) on recovery board. The job is limited to one building having roofs of different levels totaling to about 50,000 square feet. The bid documents will be available by the first of June 1995 and the completion date for the construction is September 30, 1995. The magnitude of this project is estimated between $200,000 and $300,000. Interested bidders should state whether they are interested in bidding on the project. This project will be 100% set-aside for small business concerns. To be considered a small business for this procurement a business concern and it's affiliates must not have average annual receipts exceeding $17 million for the preceding three fiscal years. To be considered qualified, offers will be required to have demonstrable corporate experience in successfully completing projects of similar complexity.
