SOLICITATION: The project covered by this statement consists of furnishing all plant, labor, supplies, equipment, materials and transportation to construct a new water main and fire hydrant system. The job consists of 2000 linear feet of 8-inch water main with two hydrants and replacing 19 fire hydrants in various locations. Project includes excavation, backfill, jacking/boring and repaving. There are two additive bid items as follows: 1. 760 linear feet of 6-inch water main and one fire hydrant. 2. 400 linear feet of 8-inch water main. All work to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications. All work to be performed at Barnes Air National Guard Base, Westfield, Massachusetts. Performance period is for ninety (90) days after receipt of the Notice To Proceed. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
