Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials and supplies necessary to provide demolition and new construction for modifications to existing facilities for TB ventilation of certain rooms located at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Edward Hines Hospital, Hines Illinois 60141. (Hines Il., is located approximately 13 miles west of Downtown Chicago.) Work shall include demolition, removal of debris, relocation or replacement of portions of existing work, provision of new gypsum board shafts and partitions, new doors, patching of new roof penetrations, new sheet metal work and mechanical provisions for exhaust and new electrical work. All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings, and all applicalbe codes and standards. Bid documents will be available after June 2, 1995, by written request to the Contracting Officer, accompanied by a refundable deposit check of $35.00. Bidders are strongly encourage to attend the site visit planned for June 13, 1995, at 10:00am local time. Bid opening date is scheudled for July 11, 1995 at 1:30pm local time.
