McBride, (334)953-3514, Contracting Officer The 42d Air Base Wing Command Post at Maxwell Air Force Base has a requirement to furnish and install an automated tele-notification system. Training on the use of this system will also be required. This system shall meet the following minimum specifications: It must be a personal computer-based system that is linked to a telephone system, pagers, fax machines, and designed to automatically relay important information to specific personnel. It must have the ability to interface with United States civilian, military, and worldwide telecommunication systems; capability to address every current facsimile system available and be certified for FCC use. It must be able to be activated remotely with password protected access and provide real-time reports via fax or personal computer. It must be court tested and have ''Line of Duty'' acknowledgment by notified personnel that will save the Department of Defense from liability issues in the event of an accident resulting in an emergency response. The system must: control sirens and tome alert radio systems from remote locations; perform system callouts based on user-defined scenarios; allow an unlimited number of persons, groups, and/or positions to be entered in the roster; accomodate up to 50 contact numbers for each roster member (work, home, pager, mobile, fax, cellular, and radios); transmit FAX forms; and provide instant documentation by printing a variety of real-time reports to multiple locations (printers, faxes, computer terminals).
