a loan from the world Bank (wb) towards the cost of the Philippine Tax
Computerization Project part of the proceeds of this loan will be
applied to eligible payments under contracts for the supply of
Non-Computer equipment goods shall be procured in accordance with the
procurement guidelines the Bureau of Customs invites international
competitive sealed Bids for the supply and delivery of the following
lot number - brief description 1 - 5 units stationary X-ray machines,
2 units mobile X-ray machines, 7 units fibroscopes 2 - turnkey
computerized closed circuit surveillance camera system with sound
(about 30-40 cameras) 3 - 3 units 400 kw generators 4 - 5 units digital
scanner mimeos, 1 unit document binding machine, 1 unit paper cutter 5
- 7 units photocopiers, 13 units postage metering machines, 12 units
validating machines, 3 units money counters 6 - 6 units utility
vehicles 7 - 1 set 20-microphone conference audio system 8 - 1 unit tv
video projector, 2 units overhead projectors and screens, 1 unit video
projection panel 9 - 5 units office safes, 1 unit vault door 10 - 2
units electronic copyboards, 6 units moving message display boards, 2
units jewelry weighing balance 11 - 2 sets outdoor Public address
systems, 2 units karaoke-type Public address systems, 1 radio cassette
recorder contracts for the above lots will be evaluated and award
procedure: bid documents May besecured from the office of the chief,
General services division, Bureau of Customs (attention Mr. Jay
francia) Tel no.: (632) 49-34-03; fax no.: (632) 40- 79-58 from April
17 to May 12, 1995 upon payment of a Non-refundable fee per lot of
pesos P1,900 or usdlr 75 00. Foreign suppliers who would like to
participate should also remit an additional usdlr 30 00 to cover
courier costs (usdlr 1 00 equals pesos 26.00). Sealed Bids must be
submitted at the boc training room not later than 1300 hours Manila
time, May 30, 1995 for lots 4 to 11; June 14 for lots 1 and 3; and July
17 for lot 2; after which the same shall be opened in Public bidders
who choose to sumbit their Bids by mail must see to it that the bid is
received by the Bureau before the deadline for bid opening offers
received after the time and date indicated above will no longer be
accepted Bids from parties which are not registered with the Bureau as
having procured the bidding documents will be rejected outright each
bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of (a) manager or
cashier's check; (B) irrevocable letter of credit; or (C) Bank
guarantee in the prescribed bid security form from either a local ban
K or a foreign Bank with local correspondent acceptable to the Bureau
in the sum of not less than two percent (2 pct) of the amount of the
