A -- SERVICES TO OPERATE A CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER CENTER TO DEVELOP MECHANISMS TO TRANSFER THE RESULTS OF CORPS OF ENGINEERS CONSTRUCTION-RELATED RESEARCH TO SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZED CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES Sol. The U.S. Army Construction Engineering Research Laboratories (USACERL), Champaign, IL, intends to negotiate a contract with Indiana State University, School of Technology, to develop mechanisms to transfer the results of Corps of Engineers construction-related research to small-and-medium-sized construction companies throughout the Wabash Valley Region. This action is the result of House of Representatives, Report 103-135, 103D Congress, 1st Session, Energy and Water Development Appropriations Bill, 1994, Page 20. Services include operations of a technology hot-line, presenting basic automation technology workshops, presenting project planning and estimating courses, identification of technology to be transferred, development of an Internet interface, and preparing a report of operations. The proposed contract is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Request for Proposal DACW88-95-R-0028 will be issued on or about 05 Jun 95, with the closing date on or about 5 Jul 95.
