This is a sources sought synopsis of all responsible sources who can
satisfy the agency requirements in providing the following listed
services for the 319th Medical Group (MTF), Grand Forks Air Force Base,
North Dakota: A. Radiology services and all required administrative
services for patients referred to the contractor's facility by the MTF.
A qualified radiologist shall perform the professional services
required for radiology patients, to read, study, interpret, diagnose
and perform special diagnostic fluoroscopic procedures. The contractor
shall perform these special studies utilizing the equipment and
facilities of the contractor's own radiology department. Due to travel
time/cost and emergency considerations, it is REQUIRED the
contractor's facility be located within the local area for providing of
the above referenced services. B. An ultrasound technologist to perform
diagnostic ultrasound services and interpretations at the MTF radiology
department, using Government supplied equipment, approximately three
half-days per week for Government beneficiaries. C. A qualified
radiologist shall interpret routine studies performed by the MTF
radiology staff and sent to the contractor's facility. Interpretation
shall consist of medical evaluation of x-ray films exposed and
processed by MTF radiology personnel. Radiologist interpretations shall
be completed within 24 hours of receiving the x-ray studies sent to the
contractor's facility. The radiologist shall provide technical
assistance via telephone to MTF radiology staff for questions on any
x-ray studies. The basic period of performance shall be for one year
(estimated 1 Oct 95 through 30 Sep 96), plus four option year. As
referenced in paragraph ``A'' above, due to travel time/cost and
emergency considerations, it is required the contractor's facility be
located within the local Grand Forks area. Interested concerns who are
capable of meeting the agency requirements should notify our office,
in writing, of their intentions to bid on subject project as a prime
contractor as soon as possible, but not later than 15 MAY 95. Project
requirements will be made available on or about 5 Jun 95. All requests
for a solicitation package must be in writing and state the business
size (currently, this acquisition is unrestricted) and whether they are
