Part-Time Medical Services: Physicians needed to work under contract, on a part-time basis for Social Security Administration's Disability Insurance Program. This involves review of medical evidence in disability claims in Region IX, Social Security Administration (SSA) Disability Programs Branch, 75 Hawthorne Street, in San Francisco, California 94105. No patient contact. Applicants must: (1) have a valid license to practice medicine in the USA: (2) have current or recent clinical experience; and (3) be available between 6:30 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, for case review. Subject to change, the specialties needed are Internal Medicine, Pediatrics. Orthopedics/Physiatry, Psychiatry, and Cardiology. The expected date of contract is 10/1/95. In addition, there is a need for a Regional Medical Advisor. This is advisory position. As well as meeting 1, 2, & 3 above, applicants must have at least 5 years experience working for the Social Security Administration's Disability Programs Branch.
