Z -- DEMOLITION OF DORMITORY #2701 Sol F10603-95-B0014. Due 071395. POC Sgt Lori Landry, 208/828-2664/Cynthia A. Tortolano, Contracting Officer, 208/828-2664. The contractor shall furnish all plant, laboor, supplies, equipment, and supervision necessary for Demolition of Dormitory #2701. Work consists of the complete demolition of Facility #2701 (Dormitory). This building is a two story wood frame structure (approximately 11,300 square feet per floor). Work will consist of the buld of the facility's structural members to be shredded or ground up/mulched as this method will reduce the impact on the base landfill. The contractor shall accomplish a complete removal of the entire facilty, foundations, pavements, sidewalks, removal of tree stumps, lawn, terminating and capping of utilities. Regrading and leveling of the area to match adjacent contours and elevations, installing fill material, and compaction. The project also icludes removing all identified asbestos containing materials in the interior and exterior of the building prior to demolition. Lead paint is known to be part of the facility and must be dealt with. Work on site cannot start until after August 1, 1995. Work will take place on Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. The total performance period for this project is 90 calendar days after award. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Requests for solicitations must be inwriting and include telephone number, zip code (9-digit) and information as to whether your organization is a large, small or small disadvantaged business. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDV concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 2 Jun 95. This noification must include a positive statement of eligibility as small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all interested business concerns as well as from Small Disadvantaged Business concerns.
