This action is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should indicate interest, in writing, as early as possible but not later than 10 calendar days of this notice by providing to the contracting office as a minimum the following information: (a) a positive statement of eligibility as a SDB concern; (b) a positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract as a prime contractor; (c) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and point of contracts and telephone numbers; (d) provide evidence of bonding capability to the maximum magnitude of the project to include both single and aggregate totals. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested SDB concerns. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being considered as a qualifying SDB. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns by close of business 10 calendar days from the date of this notice, this solicitation will be issued on an unrestrictive basis without further notice. Therefore, replies are requested from all concerns as well as from SDB concerns. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Work includes but is not limited to the following: Building 1603, 1607, 1608, Wading Pool 1605, and Pool 1606. Demolition and gutting of existing latrine building and bath house including all plumbing fixtures, removal of existing concrete patios, pool lining, roofs and masonry perimeter wall. New construction consisting of new masonry veneer on latrine, bath house, and pool buildings, new metal roofs and wood trusses on same, new plumbing fixtures, new toilet partitions, new doors and frames, new concrete pool decking and new pool liners in main and wading pools, new concrete and masonry ramps and railings, new masonry screen wall with integral light fixtures and cst stone caps at Seymour Johnson AFB NC. Solicitation will be available on or about 12 June 95. The performance period is approximately 180 calendar days.
