Correnti, 215/656-6401 GSA requires the design-build replacement of two existing 527 KW (150-ton) chillers, associated piping and components, and renovations to the penthouse mechanical room to meet recent ASHRAE standards at the Federal Building located at Seventh and Jefferson Streets, Charlottesville, Virginia. The procurement is being procured on an unrestricted basis in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Estimated contract value is between $250,00 and 500,00. SIC code is 1711. The building will be 100% occupied during the project. The sucessful offer will replace chillers and associated chilled water system components, provide related management and inspection services, training of Government operation and maintenance personnel, and warranties/guarantees. Due to the complexity of this project, offerors are required to meet established minimum technical criteria, including but not limited to the successful completion of at least three chiller replacement projects of similar size in the past five years class ''A'' contractor currently licensed in the State of Virginia, and documentation of a professional Engineer, registered with the State of Virginia, who can show experience with the past five years commemsurate with the above requirement. Sucessful offer must seal all drawings and submittal technical data for project. Special security requirements for contractors working in this particular Federal Building exist.
