Work includes, but is not limited to furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials to replace an existing 166 ton chiller. All work will be performed in strict accordance with the plans and specifications for replacing the existing 166 ton chiller. The work to be performed includes: Replacing existing 166 ton chiller with a new approximately 100 ton multiple compressor reciprocating chiller. New chilled and condenser water piping shall be installed. The chilled water pump valves and controls shall be re-balanced for the new flow. The condenser water system shall be re-balanced for the new flow rate. Install unit heater and ventilation system in mechanical room. The contractor shall provide and maintain an effective quality control program. This will be a firm-fixed Lump Sum contract. The contractor shall begin performance within 30 calendar days and complete it within 90 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. This acquisition is unrestricted. The size standard for a small business concern, including its affiliates is average annual sales or receipts for the preceding three fiscal years, not to exceed $7.0 million. The standard industrial code for this IFB is 1711. IFB to be issued on or about 01 August 1995. All request should be in writing and reference DABT19-95-B-0014.
