The work is required at Buildings B499 and B575. The work in B499 includes removal and replacement of 11 air handling units and the removal of 2 computer room air-conditining unit systems. The mechanical rooms shall be modified to suit new equipment. The work in B575 includes the replacement of the first floor computer room air-conditioning unit system and replacement of the central building water chiller, cooling tower and pumps. The replacement chiller will be air-cooled. Both of the facilities are occupied and in use/operation. System and equipment tonnages range from about 8 to 60 tons. Performance is 180 calendar days.
