This solicitation is for a firm fixed price construction contract. The scope of work is for the removal of approximately 2900 square feet of asbestos roofing on Residence #1, removal of approximately 1000 square feet of asbestos roofing on Residence #2, FPC Alderson WV and the installation of new class ``C'' asphalt shingle roofing, with an approximate total of 3900 square feet in combination of residence #1 & #2, and continuous seamless aluminium guttering measuring approximately 370 linear feet and downspouts, 330 linear feet. The replacement of 5/8'' plywood sheathing as needed. This bid will be a single award contract. Estimated completion time will be thirty (30) days. Solicitations will be available appoximately June 5, 1995. A pre-bid/site visit conference is scheduled for June 19, 1995, at the Federal Prison Camp Alderson, WV at 1:00 pm local time. Sealed bids should be submitted to the Federal Prison Camp, PO Box B, Glen Ray Road, Alderson, West Virginia 24910, attention Danny Dominick, Supervisory Contract Specialist, by no later than 1:00 pm local time on July 6, 1995.
