Procurement of up to eight (8) new Commercial Off-the-Shelf, Non-Developmental Item (NDI), FAA certified, transport short take-off and landing aircraft with rear ramp cargo loading capability and Life Cycle Contractor Support (LCCS) and training for these aircraft. Capabilities: Rear Ramp, 24 personnel/two (2) half-size cargo pallets, certified for landings on snow and ice, all weather operational, avionics subsystem should be similar to current Army Avionics Systems, Range 1000 NM, Take Off/Landing from 1500 foot runway. Designation as Alaska Support Aircraft (ASA). The aircraft shall have a 25 year operation life based on an anticipated flying hour program of 420 hours per year and shall be newly manufactured or have zero time on all time change components.
